The Lotus at Dusk
This one took five days.
Not because it's complicated — but because Champa flowers don't rush. Each bloom on this saree was painted freehand, one petal at a time, in warm coral, dusty pink, and burnt orange. No stencils. No shortcuts. Just a brush, a steady hand, and a lot of patience.
The base is pure satin silk — the kind that catches light in the morning and holds it into the evening. Ivory, but warmer than ivory. More like the inside of a seashell.
You'll notice the flowers aren't uniform. A few petals bleed into each other. Some are more orange, some more pink, depending on where the brush paused. That's not an accident — that's the hand. That's what makes yours different from every other one that will ever exist.
Because there is no other one
